The Padpilot Briefing Room: your AI-powered ATPL Assistant

The Padpilot Briefing Room

We launched the Padpilot Briefing Room (PBR) in November this year and the feedback from our partner pilot training organisations (ATOs) has been incredible. They recognised the value of having a smart, AI-powered assistant to maximise study time and support students.

So now we’re thrilled to announce that the game-changing power of the Padpilot Briefing Room is now available directly to individual student pilots and instructors.

Our intelligent study companion is now accessible to anyone with a full set of Padpilot’s ATPL books. Say hello to a more productive, efficient, and confident approach to your ATPL theory studies.

Your Personal ATPL Assistant, On-Demand

The Padpilot Briefing Room (PBR) is your very own ATPL expert, available 24/7.

Need to unravel a complex meteorological concept at midnight? Curious about the nuances of flight planning on a Sunday morning? The PBR is ready when you are. Built on cutting-edge Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI technology, the PBR only uses Padpilot’s trusted knowledge vault of verified ATPL(A) training material.

You get:

  • Fast, accurate answers: Get instant clarification on any ATPL(A) questions and say goodbye to unreliable search results. For example, ask the PBR to generate 3 questions on a specific Padpilot book chapter.
  • Independent learning support: No need to wait. Break through any study challenges instantly, with clear explanations to help students learn at their own pace.
  • Enhanced understanding: The PBR can ‘see’ and explain images directly from any Padpilot ATPL(A) books, bringing complex concepts to life immediately.
  • Maths and tables: The PBR can render complex maths formulae and tables, helping students grasp the underlying principles.
  • Syllabus links: Each answer from the PBR comes with references to the relevant EASA Learning Objectives and Padpilot book chapters, so you can dive deeper or cross-reference easily.
  • Multilingual support: Ask the PBR questions in most languages and receive accurate, Padpilot-approved answers.

Time-saving for Instructors

The Padpilot Briefing Room also offers lots of benefits for instructors:

  • Support independent study – Students can take ownership of their learning outside the classroom, knowing they have a reliable resource for clarification.
  • Efficient lesson time – With quick questions solved by the PBR, lesson time can be used for teaching, practising & building understanding.
  • Syllabus links – Each answer comes with references to the relevant EASA Learning Objectives and Padpilot book chapters, so you can search & cross-reference easily.
  • Faster preparation – Quickly generate quizzes, mock questions and even lesson plans, freeing up time for instruction and student interaction.
  • Full imagery in ATO version – unlock access to the full version of the PBR with an ATO licence to get answers which include Padpilot book images.
